COMBINATION PROGRAMS

headerimage-cp The State of Oregon allows a student to take combinations of the three basic Programs of Hair Design, Nail Technology, and Esthetics. These combinations are listed below. To be Fully Certified in the State of Oregon, as well as in all other states, all three basic Programs should be taken.

HAIR DESIGN, ESTHETICS, AND NAIL TECHNOLOGY

(2300 HOURS)

Educational standards will be the combination of the Hair Design 1700-hour Program, the Nail Technology 600 hour Program, and the Esthetician 500 hour Program. Since a student only has to complete the 250 hour Safety /Sanitation, and Career Development once, the time is 2300 hours. The Program can be completed in 66 contracted weeks, max. 83 weeks.

HAIR DESIGN AND NAIL TECHNOLOGY

(2050 Hours)

Educational standards will be the combination of the Hair Design 1700 hour Program, and the Nail Technology 600 hour Program. Since a student only has to complete the 250 hour Safety/Sanitation, and Career Development once, the time is 2050 hours. The Program can be completed in 59 contracted weeks, max. 77 weeks.

HAIR DESIGN AND ESTHETICS

(1950 Hours)

Educational standards will be the combination of the Hair Design 1700 hour Program and the Esthetician 500 hour Program. Since a student only has to complete the 250 hour Safety/Sanitation, and Career Development once, the time is 1950 hours. The Program can be completed in 56 contracted weeks, max. 71 weeks.

ESTHETICS AND NAIL TECHNOLOGY

(850 Hours)

Educational standards will be the combination of the Nail Technology 600 hour Program, and the Esthetics 500 hour Program. Since a student only has to complete the 250 hour Safety/Sanitation, and Career Development once, the time is 850 hours. The Program can be completed in 25 contracted weeks, max. 31 weeks.

TEACHER TRAINING

1,000 Hours (29 weeks) max. 37 weeks

To be accepted for training, the applicant must be at least 18 years old, and have both a high school diploma (or GED), and a current Practitioner's Certificate in the classification(s) they wish to teach. Hair Design, Esthetics, Nail technology.
